The time has come! I am so excited to finally share some more about this dear, sweet summer story that I can’t wait for you to read! This story was inspired by a writing prompt that I wrote last spring and I couldn’t get it out of my head. It morphed into something that I feel has a timeless message that I pray will be an encouragement to those who read it. I also had such fun working on the cover and writing this in a shorter format was definitely a challenge. I always just want to write a whole book about the characters, perhaps there will be more about them in the future, but for now, this is my humble offering. 😀
Revolutionary War Era England
Marjorie Kirk is a woman with no fortune, no prospects, no family, and no skills. Or so she thinks. She is awkward, shy, and the farthest thing from any semblance of a society lady.
The new minister keeps turning up in the most awkward of places and she can’t help but feel that her life is doomed to one of embarrassment. But will her flaws actually be the thing that others find the most attractive?
A story of a young woman with social anxiety and how she learned to bloom.
Isn’t she pretty? This story became something very precious and a message of encouragement to girls. I can’t wait for you all to read it! All right. . . back to editing. *faints*
What do you think? Are you excited for the When Beauty Blooms release?
By God’s Grace,
