I love to write. It has been a passion of mine for a long time. I believe it stemmed from my passion for devouring good literature; I’m a huge reader and an avid book collector. I think I need to build myself a shed just to supply my book hoarding habits! The idea of creating worlds out of nothing, imagining the lives of people that were dreamed up in my head, and setting them down on paper in a way that intrigues and evokes emotion from the reader has always inspired me.

Ever since age nine or so, I would jot down and scribble little stories in dollar-store notebooks that I thought were so cool! Someday, I dreamed, I would write a book. But it wasn’t until the past two years that I delved deep into the mysteries of writing, honing my craft and actually finishing what I started. I was greatly inspired by my dear friend Julia Erickson (who is a self-published author) that perhaps I had something to offer and officially began the process of writing a novel! During the fall and winter months, (and any other time that I can) I write every day, setting goals for myself and filling page after page with handwritten words that are dear to my heart. And yes, I write nearly everything by hand, with an actual pen!

My faith is a huge part of my life and often bleeds through into my writing. I hope my readers leave with some hope in their hearts and a closer relationship with Jesus. ❤

My goal, in writing, is to share a piece of my heart with you… and in doing so, encourage you and leave you feeling better for having read my work.

I would like to invite you to scroll below and check out some of my works in progress and inspiration pictures! Enjoy!
